Best Online Public Health Programs in the U.S.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in public health, a degree in public health is the way to go. There are many good MPH programs, most of which are hybrid courses. That is, you can complete a good chunk of the course online but due to the nature of the study and a need for experiential learning, on-campus classes are a part of the program. MPH programs also include practicum and capstone projects.

These programs are designed to be completed within three years; some universities offer accelerated programs that help you complete the programs within a year. Concentrations can include Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Reproductive Health, and Food, Nutrition and Health. A Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation is one of the indicators of a good program.
